Biyografi

Dr. Nur GEDIK BAL completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA), Master of Arts (MA), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in English Language Teaching at Middle East Technical University (METU). She currently holds the position of Vice-Head of the Foreign Languages Department within the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) at Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBU). She has also worked as a curriculum coordinator at SFL for three years. She delivered general English courses for preparatory school students at ASBU and advanced reading and writing, curriculum, and spoken English courses for the first-year students and juniors in the ELT department at METU. Her scholarly interests include intercultural competence of language learners and teachers; teachers' professional development; integration of technology into foreign language classrooms; and written corrective feedback. She published works featured in various esteemed scholarly journals. Additionally, she actively engages in the role of a reviewer for select scholarly publications.
