If the journal rules, writing template, corrections requested after referee review are not followed and the revision file is uploaded incompletely, the article is returned to the author without being published.

Preliminary Review Process
The Editorial Board of the Journal of Early Childhood Education Researches pre-reviews the studies submitted for evaluation and during the pre-review process;
Studies that do not comply with the journal's writing rules and template are not evaluated and are sent to the author(s) for correction within a maximum of 15 days. In this regard, in order to prepare the studies in accordance with the spelling rules of the journal, the spelling rules should be examined in advance and a sample template file should be used.

Arbitration Process
Studies that are pre-reviewed by the Editorial Board are sent to two referees who are experts in the field to be evaluated in terms of content. When correction is requested by the referees,

*maximum 10 days for minor revision
*for major revision, up to a maximum of 30 days;

Authors are expected to make corrections and submit their work to the journal through the same system. The reasons of the authors who state that they need more than 1,5 months are reviewed by the editorial board and a decision is made. The corrected work is re-evaluated by referees who request changes or corrections when necessary. The publication of the studies is decided by the Editorial Board in line with the opinions of the referees. In case of inconsistency in referee opinions, the Editorial Board may send the study to a different referee if deemed necessary.

Referee Reports
Referee evaluations of studies in general; It is based on originality, the method used, compliance with ethical rules, consistent presentation of findings and results, and review of the literature. Referees fill out separate forms for research articles and review articles.

Peer Review Process
The time given to referees for the referee evaluation process is 21 days. Correction suggestions from referees or editors must be completed by the authors within the specified time. Referees may review the corrections of a study and decide on its suitability, or may request corrections more than once if necessary.

Evaluation Result
Opinions from referees are reviewed by the editor(s) within 15 days at the latest. As a result of this review, the final decision is conveyed to the author(s). Authors are expected to fill out the "revision form" presented to them and send it to our editorship together with the article file they have reviewed. In the revision form, authors are expected to provide feedback (changes made or not made in the article) to each referee's suggestions.

Revision File
After the evaluation is completed, the articles requiring minor or major revision according to the referees' opinions are sent to their authors for revision. During the revision process, authors are expected to review the referees' opinions, suggestions and questions. In this process, the necessary changes to the article should be made by the authors, taking into account the opinions and suggestions of all referees, and these changes and referee questions should be answered and stated in the Note to the Editor file. Valid justifications must be provided for the recommendations of the referees that cannot be implemented. The Note to the Editor file can be accessed here. This file should be uploaded to the system using the "Referee Response File" heading using the "Add Additional File" option when uploading the corrected version of the article.

Editorial Proofreading
For articles "accepted for publication" in the Journal of Special Education as a result of peer review, the editorial team carries out the final reading process. During this process, the relevant article is examined within the framework of the journal writing rules and APA 7 and, when deemed necessary, is sent to the author for final corrections. At the end of the layout, articles are published in early view.

Early Appearance
Articles accepted for publication are published in early view in order of acceptance date. During the early appearance, authors are required to review their articles and submit suggestions for corrections in terms of journal writing rules and layout to the editorial board. No changes can be made to the articles after the journal is published.

Volume and Issue Number
Articles in early appearance are assigned to subsequent issues based on the order in which they appeared early.
