Rıfat Volkan Şenyuva graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, with dual B.Sc. degrees in control engineering (2007) and computer engineering (2008). He then continued his studies at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul, Turkey, where he received M.Sc. (2009) and Ph.D. (2016) in electrical–electronics engineering. His Ph.D. dissertation was focused on sparse signal recovery algorithms. From 2016 to 2018, he worked as a researcher at NETAS Telecommunication Inc. Since 2018, he has been with the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences of Maltepe University, Istanbul, Turkey, where he is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical–Electronics Engineering. His research interests include multidimensional harmonic retrieval, machine-type communications, and channel estimation in reconfigurable intelligent surface-based systems.
