Ramazan Volkan COBAN was placed in Balıkesir University Necatibey Faculty of Education Department of Turkish Language and Literature Teaching in 2009. He founded Balıkesir University Folklore Research Club in 2011. In 2012, he organized the first Young Folklorists Symposium in Balıkesir. In 2013, he had the opportunity to study in the United States as an exchange student and he took classes about Asian philology. In 2014, he was appointed to the staff of the Ministry of National Education as a teacher of Turkish language and literature. He worked as a teacher, administrator and founder administrator in various institutions in Erzurum and Mus. And he is still working for Ministry of National Education. He carried out various projects and/or provided project consultancy with institutions and organizations such as Turkiye Science Heroes Association, FLL, DAP, ERASMUS+, KUDAKA, SODES, TUBITAK, UNESCO, South Korea Yonsei University. Meanwhile, he had the opportunity to visit countries such as Germany (2 times), Austria, Belgium, Czechia (3 times), France (2 times), Georgia, Netherlands, Spain, Hungary (2 times), Poland, Slovakia for various purposes. During his contacts in EU and USA, he became involved in the philological community. He has academic and popular science articles in various national and international media. He took undergraduate and graduate history courses at Anadolu University and Hitit University. He graduated from his postgraduate education in Mus Alparslan University Department of Turkish Language and Literature in 2023. He speaks Turkish as mother tongue; English, Korean and Chinese as foreign languages.
