The studies to be submitted for publication in the International Journal of Uyghur Studies should follow the steps below:

1. In order to submit a study to be published in the journal, the responsible author must register as a personal member of the TÜBİTAK Dergipark system. To register to the Dergipark system, you can create your username and password by entering your personal information in the windows opened from the link https://dergipark.org.tr/en/

2. After registering to the Dergipark system, authors access the article submission panel of the International Journal of Uyghur Studies via the link https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/uygur and upload their articles and files and start the process.

3. International Journal of Uyghur Studies has adopted a publication approach in accordance with international standards and rules regarding “publication ethics”, “research ethics” and “obtaining legal/special permission”. In this respect, at the stage of uploading the studies to the system, the “Ethics Committee Document” should be uploaded to the system as additional files for the studies that require an ethics committee certificate. 4. For the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others, permission must be obtained from the owners and this issue must be stated; for the intellectual and artistic works used, it must be stated that the copyright regulations are complied with.

5. Submission of articles to the International Journal of Uyghur Studies is considered as an application for publication. Authors of the articles accepted for publication are deemed to have waived the copyrights of their works. The Copyright Transfer Form is available at the relevant link on the Journal's website. Authors are obliged to upload this signed-scanned form to the system.

6. Authors submitting articles to our journal are also required to enter their ORCID ID numbers, which they will obtain by free membership at orcid.org, into the Dergipark system.

7. In multi-authored articles, a statement of the contribution rate of the researchers, as well as a statement of support and acknowledgment for each article (if any), and a conflict of interest statement should be included. The form must be filled out and signed and uploaded to the Dergipark system (Conflict of Interest Declaration) before manuscript submission. For the relevant form, you can access the COPE Additional Declarations Form on the right panel.

8. All editorial work and procedures, double-blind peer review and publication stages of our journal are carried out through the internet-based password-protected TÜBİTAK Dergipark system, which provides quick access to authors, reviewers and editors. In this respect, you can follow all the stages of your manuscripts uploaded to the system from the “User Panel” that you will enter with your username and password you have created through Dergipark.
