Purpose of Türkbilig:
a) To present new and original scientific studies of the historical and modern fields of Turkish language, literature and culture to the service of the field of Turcology.
b) To contribute to universal linguistics, literature science and cultural science fields by interpreting the studies in the field of Turcology within the framework of modern theories and taking it from local to national and international level.

Scope of Türkbilig:
Türkbilig, which deals with the descriptive, theoretical, simultaneous, diachronic and comparative aspects / problems of Turkish languages and literatures, also accepts papers from other fields related to Turkish language and literature and culture such as folklore, regional relations, history, religion.
