Writing Rules

Title Page should include: Paper Title; Running Head; Author Name Surname; Affiliation, Address, City, Country, email address and ORCID and if necessary Acknowledgement.

In order to submit a study to the journal of Education & Youth Research (EYOR), please carefully review the following spelling rules, prepare your full text on the article template prepared in MS-Word word processing software, and upload it to the system.

Table(s) and Figures should be in the manuscript.

A typical paper for this journal should be no more than 9000 words in total (i.e. including references, tables and figures). Papers should be sent with Turkish and English abstracts of 150-200 words. There should be 5 keywords under the abstracts.

Manuscripts should be written in Microsoft Word format (doc or docx extension), Times New Roman font, 12 font size, justified and single line spacing. Abstract should be written in 10 font size and single line spacing. Page margins should be 2,5 cm. on all sides. Article Heading should be 14 font size, justified, only the first letter of each word should be capitalized. Citing and formatting reference entries should be in accordance with the principles established by the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition (2020).

Author Information

Author names should be written in 12 font size, Times New Roman and serial order. Orcid number (https://orcid.org/0000-0001-1111-2222) should be written after the author names.

DECLARATION CONFLICT OF INTEREST

The author (s) of the manuscript must declare that there are no conflicts of personal and financial interest within the scope of the study. They should state this statement under the title of Conf Conflicts of Interest at the end of the article such as "The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest" before the references.

ETHICAL STATEMENT

At the end of the article, before the bibliography, the authors should state the ethical statement as follows:

All the rules announced by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) have been complied with in the whole process from planning to implementation of this research, from data collection to analysis. In the writing process of the study, scientific ethics and quotation rules were followed;
No falsification has been made on the collected data and this study has not been sent to any other academic publication environment for evaluation.

Reference entries should be in accordance with the principles established by the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition

Notice About Plagiarism: 

Authors should definitely avoid plagiarism. EYOR asks authors to submit a plagiarism report using a widely accepted plagiarism software to prevent plagiarism. When those who cannot obtain the originality report declare it, our journal will receive this report itself. The report must be below 20% at most, excluding the bibliography.
