Aim & Scope

The aim of the journal is to contribute to the development of the information and documentation area on a healthy basis by including original scientific articles, opinions, reader letters, translation articles, news and professional meeting announcements in Turkish or English that examine problems. It is among the aims of the journal to develop ways of sharing information, to organize, present and provide access to information, to disseminate information primarily in academic and social life, and to lead knowledge-based social development.

The Journal of Information and Documentation Studies publishes articles on librarianship, archiving, documentation and information. The journal includes original scientific articles, opinions, reader letters, promotional articles, translation articles, news and professional meeting announcements in Turkish or English, which examine the problems related to information and document management and offer solutions.
