Bio
She was born in Ankara in 1985. She completed her high school education at Izmir Bornova Anatolian High School and her undergraduate studies in the Department of Social Work at Hacettepe University. She began her professional career as a social worker in the Elderly Services branch of the Izmir Provincial Directorate of Social Services. Later, she worked as a Social Work Specialist at the Karşıyaka Zübeyde Hanım Nursing Home for the Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center, Ege Army Command, Child Protection Initial Intervention Unit, and Izmir 3rd Type Closed Prison Execution Institution of the Ministry of Justice General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Houses.
In addition, she served as a Research Assistant in the Department of Social Work at Gediz University and as a Senior Information Officer at the international non-governmental organization Mercy Corps. Between 2010 and 2013, after completing her Master's degree in Family Counseling and Education at Dokuz Eylül University, she graduated from the Clinical Focused Social Work Doctoral Program at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University in 2019. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor/Department Chair at Izmir Kavram Vocational School, Social Services Program.
