Various types of containers were produced in antiquity for the purpose of protecting and transporting agricultural products. Amphoras are one of the most preferred types of vessels. Originally produced uniformly, amphorae were produced in various forms with the development of trade and the diversification of transported materials. The amphoras, which survived from the Early Bronze Age to the Byzantine Period, spread over a large area. As a result, amphora production centers have been established in many regions. There are many amphorae registered in Samsun Museum inventory. These amphorae were evaluated under 11 regions and a catalog study was made and the description of the works was provided. Although it is very difficult to determine the place where the Amphoras were produced and to create a chronology, it was tried to be dated by comparing them with similar examples and it was aimed to contribute to the existing literature with the results obtained.
