Abstract
A statistical approximation to arithmetic series were made by stüdying an series which has important place in mathematic. The sum of arithmetic sequence can be calcu[ated by following equation:
The first part of this equation shows median or arithmetic mean whilc second part gives the number of elements. On the other hand, distribution of arithmetic series Wilh uniform distribution.

ifadesi ile hesaplanabilir. Bu ifadenin ilk kısmı medyan veya aritmetik ortalamayı, ikinci kısmı ise, dizideki eleman sayısını vermektedir. Öte yandan aritmetik serinin dağılımı Üniform dağılıma uymakladır. Bu dağılımın ortalaması olan;
