Abstract

Yaşadığımız çağa ait disiplinlerarası örgüler; yaşam, düşünüş ve üretim biçimlerimizi dönüştürürken, sanat / tasarım alanları bu gerçeklikten beslenerek kaynağını genişletmektedir. Yeni
görme, söyleme, yapma ve düşünme biçimlerinin şekillendirdiği bu alan; fikirlerin ve biçimlerin
mücadelesine tanıklık ettiğimiz sürekli hareketlilik ve etkileşimi işaret ediyor.

Disiplinlerin bir arada işlediği bu etkileşimli ‘yeni’ ortam, sanat / tasarım eğitimine ait temel
yaklaşımların bir tek disipline ait sınırların dışında çoğul bakış açısıyla yeniden tanımlanmasını
gerektirmektedir.

Bu metin, disiplinlerarasılık, hareketlilik ve etkileşim kavramlarından yola çıkarak; sanat / tasarım eğitiminin taşıyıcısı olan “Temel Sanat / Tasarım Eğitimi”nin işlevini yeniden düşünme ve
bu alana ilişkin yeni yaklaşımları tartışmaya açma amacını taşımaktadır.

Abstract

While inter-disciplinary networks pertaining to our contemporary times are gradually converting
our lifestyles, consideration and manufacturing patterns, fields of art / design are extending their
sources upon being nurtured from this reality. Such a domain shaped by new sight, speech, action
and pondering forms is referring to a perpetual mobility and interaction whereby we are witnessing
the struggle between ideas and forms.

Such interactive “new” ambient where disciplines operate all together jointly requires that basic
approaches with respect to art/design training are to be re-defined and identified under a pluralistic
perspective beyond limits of any single discipline.

This article aims to re-consider the function of “Basic Art / Design Training” as the bearer of
art / design training, setting out from concepts of interdisciplinarity, mobility and interaction and
introducing to discussion new approaches in respect of this field.
