Bebeklerin Uyku Güvenliği Konusunda İnternet Verilerinin Güvenilirliği

Abstract

GİRİŞ ve AMAÇ: Tüm dünyada giderek artan internet kullanımı sağlık alanını da etkisi altına almaya başlamıştır. İnternetteki sağlık bilgilerinin kalitesi ise hala tartışılmaya devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı da internet üzerindeki bebek uyku güvenliği hakkındaki bilgilerin doğruluğunu belirlemektir.
YÖNTEM ve GEREÇLER: Amerikan Pediatri Akademisi önerileri doğrultusunda 8 anahtar kelime kullanılmış ve ilk 100 sayfa taranmıştır. Bilgilerin doğruluğu "uygun", "uygun değil" veya "alakalı değil" olarak sınıflandırılmıştır. Web siteleri türe göre kategorize edilmiştir.
BULGULAR: Toplam 800 web sitesinin 163’ü (%20,4) uygun bilgiyi sağlarken, 181’i (%22,6) uygun olmayan bilgi vermekteydi. Web sitesi türleri analiz edildiğinde en yüksek doğru bilgi oranına sahip olan web sitesi türü devlet sitesi/organizasyon siteleri, uygun olmayan bilgileri içerme oranı en yüksek olan web sitesi türü ise bireysel siteler/bloglar idi. Doğru bilgi olan web sitesinin en fazla oranda olduğu anahtar kelimeler ‘güvenli bebek yatağı’ olarak belirlendi.
TARTIŞMA ve SONUÇ: Çalışmanın sonucunda web sitelerindeki bebek uyku güvenliği hakkında yanlış bilgi içerme oranları tespit edilmiş ve bu oranların İngilizce web sitelerine göre çok daha fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Sağlık çalışanları güvenli bebek uykusu konusunda web siteleri önermelidir. Böylece aileler internetten doğru bilgiye ulaşmış olurlar.
