Grupla Psikolojik Danışmada Çatışma, Çatışma Kaynakları ve Lider Müdahaleleri

Year 2022, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 195 - 206, 29.12.2022

Abstract

Conflict, Conflict Sources and Leader Interventions in Group Counseling

Year 2022, Volume: 2 Issue: 2, 195 - 206, 29.12.2022

Abstract

Psychological counseling practices are generally a systematic, regular and professional help service for the areas that clients want to improve in their lives. Within this practice, group counseling practices have a special importance. An individual in a group practice, representing a small universe, on the one hand, gets the opportunity to take care of his own life, while on the other hand, he gets the opportunity to see others' lives and touch their lives. In this process, each individual in the group also carries his own characteristics within the group. Individuals with different characteristics may experience a series of conflicts within the help service carried out on the basis of this experience. Although conflict is seen as a negative feature in the group at first, it also contains positive features. The important point here is to identify the sources of intra-group conflict and intervene appropriately. Therefore, in this study, in-group conflict and conflict sources were discussed and then leader interventions were included.
