Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretmenlerinin İşbirlikli Öğrenme Modeli Sınıfta Uygulamaları ve Elde Edilen Sonuçların Değerlendirilmesi: Iğdır İl Örneği
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Iğdır’da görev yapan Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretmenlerinin İşbirlikli Öğrenme Modeli hakkında bilgilendirmesi, öğrencilerin konuları anlamalarına ve akademik başarılarına birlikte öğrenme ve işbirlikli okuma yazma uygulama yönteminin etkisinin belirlenmesidir. Çalışmanın örneklemini, Iğdır’da görev yapan 34 Fen ve Teknoloji Öğretmeni ve bu ildeki altı ilköğretim okulunda öğrenim gören 318 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, fen ve teknoloji öğretmenlerine İşbirlikli Öğrenme Modeli ile ilgili 32 saat uygulamalı kurs verilmiştir. Kurs sonrasında okullardaki ders içi uygulamaları gerçekleştirmek için 4 öğretmen seçilmiştir. Bu öğretmenler sınıflarında ilgili yöntemleri kullanarak derslerinde bir üniteyi işlemişlerdir. Veri toplamak amacıyla Ön Başarı Testleri, Akademik Başarı Testleri ve Görüş Ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için, tanımlayıcı istatistikler ve tek yönlü varyans analizleri (ANOVA) yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, birlikte öğrenme ve okuma yazma uygulama yöntemlerinin öğrencilerin akademik başarıları üzerindeki etkisinin birbirine yakın olduğu ve bu öğrencilerin okullarda halen devam eden öğretim yöntemleriyle öğretim alan öğrencilere göre daha başarılı oldukları belirlenmiştir.
Informing of Science and Technology Teachers Applications of Cooperative Learning Model, in the Class and Evaluating the Obtained Results: Example of Igdir City
Abstract
The aims of this study are to determine the effect of learning together, reading-writing-application methods on academic achievement and students’ understanding of topics in science and technology course and to inform science and technology teachers about cooperative learning method. The sample of this study consist of 34 science and technology teachers working in Iğdır and 318 students studying at six secondary school in this city. It was given a practical course about cooperative learning model at the science and technology teachers during 32 hours by researcher. In order to make application deal with cooperative learning, it was chosen six science and technology teachers after the course. These teachers implemented a unit using related methods in their class. In research, it were used Prior Academic Achievement Tests, Academic Achievement Tests and Opinion Scales for students. In this study, obtained data was analyzed descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA. As the result of the study, it was determined to be close each other of the effect of learning together, reading-writing-application methods on academic achievement and students’ group investigation and reading-writing-application method on students’ academic achievements.
