Resimli Çocuk Kitapları ve Okur-Tepki Teorisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilkokul 2. sınıf öğrencilerinin seçilen iki resimli çocuk kitabına yönelik tepkilerini belirlemektir.  Araştırmada a) 2. sınıf öğrencilerinin metin merkezli ve okur merkezli yazılı cevapları nelerdir? ve b) öğrencilerin yazılı cevaplarının dağılımı nasıldır? sorularına cevap aranacaktır. Araştırmaya amaçlı örneklem yöntemiyle seçilen iki farklı okuldan 60 ikinci sınıf öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre 2. sınıf öğrencilerinin okur-merkezli yazılı cevaplar verebildiği ve kitaplarla kişisel etkileşim kurabildikleri, kendi deneyimleriyle hikâyeler arasında bağlantılar kurabildikleri ve hikâyedeki olaylara katılma isteği duydukları görülmektedir. Bu araştırmada metin merkezli sınıflamaya “ana fikir” alt başlığının eklenmesine ihtiyaç duyulmuştur. Bu çalışmada sadece resimli çocuk kitapları kullanılmıştır. İlkokul öğrencilerinin bilgi verici metinlere yönelik tepkileri ve bu metinlerle olan kişisel etkileşimlerini belirlemeyi amaçlayan araştırmalara da ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır.
