cesi ve sonrası, Osmanlı devleti, ülkesi ve milleti için sıkıntılı bir dönemdir. Bu süreçte yaşananlar Osmanlı basının gündemini oluşturmuştur.
Minber de diğer basın organları gibi siyasî, politik, ekonomik, sosyal ve
kültürel meseleleri sayfalarına taşımıştır. Minber gazetesi yaklaşık iki aylık yayın hayatında, eleştirel bir bakış sergileyerek muhalif bir yayın politikası gütmüştür. Gazetenin bu politikasında sahibi Ali Fethi Okyar ve ortağı Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün katkısı olduğunu söylemek mümkündür.
Basın ve edebiyat dilinde bir diğer anlatım yolunun da mizah olduğu
bilinmektedir. Minber gazetesinde “Arı” takma adlı yazar, “Karikatür” köşesinde günün olay ve gelişmelerini oldukça ilginç benzetmelerle dolu
hikayemsi kısa ve özlü yazılarla dile getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada 30 Ekim
1918 öncesi ve sonrası Osmanlı devletinin içinde bulunduğu durumun,
mizahî bir yaklaşımla nasıl ele alındığı ortaya koyulmaktır. Mizahın, tarihi anlama, algılama ve özümsemede nasıl etkili olabileceği, tarihe nasıl ışık tutabileceği gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
The Minber paper took up in press life on 1st of November in 1918. The
period after and before 1918 was a troubling process for the Ottoman
Empire and for it’s public. The events in this period became the agenda of the Ottoman press. Just like others did, the Minber also dealt with
political, economic, cultural and social issues. During it’s nearly two
months life, the Minber set out an opposite view by peresenting a satirical approach. It is possible to say that Ali Fethi (Okyar) – the owner of the paper- and his partner Mustafa Kemal (Atatürk) contributed to the
approach of the paper.
It is known that humor is another way of expression in press and literary language. A writer called the Bee expressed the things and developments of the day with short and succint articles around interesting
smiles and narrative tellings in caricature column. This study will try to
indicate how the events before and after 1918 were evaluated with an
humorous approach. It also tries to indicate how humor and satire are
effective in understanding, percepting and assimilating humour’s understanding history.
