Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretiminde Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı Materyallerinin Kullanımının İncelenmesi
Abstract
Kültürel miras, bir toplumun benliğini yansıtır. Geçmişten günümüze kadar gelen bu kültürel kimlik aslında toplumun temel kültürel değerlerini taşır. Sosyal bilgiler dersi bu kültürel miras konularının öğretilmesinde önemli bir misyona sahiptir. Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, sosyal bilgiler dersinde kültürel miras konularının öğretim sürecinde Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığına ait hangi materyallerin kullanımının uygun olduğunu belirleyerek sosyal bilgiler eğitim camiasına yapıcı öneriler sunmaktır. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma türlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı çevrimiçi sitesinde belirlenen dokümanlar, temalaştırılmış ve içerik analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre dijital uygulamalar, Türkiye kültür portalı medya kütüphanesi (Doküman, ses, video ve fotoğraf), kültür haritası, broşürler, yerel temelli istatistiksel veriler isimli temalar ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu temalarda belirlenen materyal ve konuların sosyal bilgiler dersinde kültürel miras konularının öğretim sürecinde aktif bir şekilde kullanılabileceği öngörülmektedir. Bunların uygunluğunu belirleme de temel kriterler arasında sosyal bilgiler dersi öğretim programı olduğu söylenebilir. Özellikle Kütür ve Turizm Bakanlığı sitesinin e-kitap, e-uygulamalar, broşürler, il tanıtım broşürleri, videolar, görseller, müzeler, sanatsal çalışmalar gibi konularda sosyal bilgiler dersi kültürel miras konularının öğretimi için zengin materyallere sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu materyaller ve konular, öğretmenler tarafından sınıf içinde etkinliklerde kullanılabileceği gibi öğrencilere pekiştirme, tekrar etme, araştırma yapma gibi konularda da yardımcı olabilir.

Abstract
Cultural heritage reflects the identity of a society. This cultural identity that has come from the past to the present actually carries the basic cultural values of the society. Social Studies course has an important mission in teaching these cultural heritage topics. The main purpose of this study is to determine which materials belonging to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism are appropriate to use in the teaching process of cultural heritage in the Social Studies course and to provide constructive suggestions to the Social Studies education community. In this study, a case study, one of the qualitative research types, was used. The documents identified on the online site of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism were thematized and analyzed by content analysis. According to the results of this research, themes such as digital applications, Turkey Culture Portal media library (documents, audio, video and photographs), culture map, brochures, locally based statistical data emerged. It is foreseen that the materials and topics identified in these themes can be actively used in the teaching process of cultural heritage topics in the Social Studies course. It can be said that one of the main criteria for determining the suitability of these is the Social Studies curriculum. It has been determined that the Ministry of Culture and Tourism website, e-books, e-applications, brochures, provincial brochures, videos, visuals, museums, artistic works, etc. have rich materials for teaching cultural heritage topics in the Social Studies course. These materials and topics can be used by teachers in classroom activities and can also help students with reinforcement, repetition, and research.
