COMPLEMENTARY AND INTEGRATIVE THERAPY PRACTICES ON PAIN MANAGEMENT IN PRIMARY DYSMENORRHEA

Abstract

Primary
dysmenorrhea is women’ most common gynecological problem It is a painful period
that disrupts the lifestyle of women, prevents their social life and daily
activities. The use of complementary and integrative ready to provide menstrual
pain; herbal treatments (ginger, chocolate, fish oil, etc.), exercise,
subcutaneous (transcutaneous) electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), connective
tissue malipulation, massage therapy water injection, vitamins and elements. This
function, reduces pain and also increases the quality of life experienced.
Menstuel of these methods in structured studies. Health professionals should
use complementary and integrative health practices that are effective in coping
with menstrual pain, and provide training and counseling to women. A
customer-oriented service and the quality of the service will increase in the
evidence of its history.

PRİMER DİSMENORE AĞRI YÖNETİMİNDE KULLANILAN TAMAMLAYICI VE BÜTÜNLEŞTİRİCİ TERAPİ UYGULAMALARI

Abstract

Primer dismenenore kadınların en sık yaşadığı jinekolojik problemlerden
biridir. Kadınların yaşam kalitesini bozan, sosyal yaşamını ve günlük
aktivitelerini engelleyen ağrılı bir periyoddur. Menstruel ağrıyı azaltmak için
birçok tamamlayıcı ve bütünleştirici terapi uygulamaları kullanılmaktadır. Bu
yöntemler; bitkisel tedaviler (zencefil, çikolata, balık yağı vs.), egzersiz,
deri altı (transkütanöz) elektriksel sinir stimülasyonu (TENS), konnektif doku
malipülasyonu, masaj terapisi, aromaterapi, topikal ısı (termoterapi),
akupunktur, yoga, refleksoloji, instradermal steril su enjeksiyonu, vitamin ve
elementlerdir. Primer dismenorede kullanılan bu uygulamalar, ağrıyı azaltmakta
ve aynı zamanda kadınların yaşam kalitesinde artış sağlamaktadır. Yapılan
çalışmalarda bu yöntemlerin menstuel ağrıyı azaltmada etkili olduğuna dair
kanıtlar yer almıştır. Sağlık profesyonelleri menstrüel ağrı ile baş etmede
etkili olan tamamlayıcı ve bütünleştirici sağlık uygulamalarını kullanması,
kadınlara eğitim ve danışmanlık yapması gerekir. Böylece kanıta dayalı
uygulamalar ışığında verilen bakım ve hizmetin kalitesi artacaktır.
