Öz
Kariyer psikolojik danışmanlığı alanında kullanılan teknikler farklı alanların teknikleri ile bütünleşmiş biçimde kullanılabilmektedir. Bu tekniklerden birisi olan genogramlar aile danışmanlığında ailenin kökenlerine yönelik geometrik şekiller, çizimler ve sözcükler kullanılarak bir soy ağacı resmetme sürecidir. Kariyer psikolojik danışmanlığı alanında genogramların kullanım amaçları, danışanların mesleki algılarını etkileyen etmenleri belirlemek ve iş dünyasına yönelik algılarını keşfetmektir. Kariyer psikolojik danışmanlığında genogramlar danışanın ihtiyaçlarına yönelik olarak farklı şekillerde kullanılır. İlk olarak, kariyer danışmanı danışanın verdiği bilgiler doğrultusunda genogramı çizebilir ve bunun üzerinde danışanla konuşabilir. İkinci olarak, kariyer danışmanı genogramda yer alan meslekler ile ilgili danışanı bilgilendirebilir. Son olarak ise, kariyer danışmanı aktif bir şekilde danışanı genogramı incelemek için davet eder ve aile üyelerinin kariyer değerlendirmeleri üzerinde durabilirler. Bu noktada çalışmanın amacı okullarda her kademede aile kariyer genogramlarının psikolojik danışmanlar tarafından kullanımının tanıtılması ve incelenmesidir.

Öz
The techniques used in career counseling can be integrated with techniques from other fields. One of these techniques, genograms, is the process of drawing a family tree by using geometric shapes, drawings and words for family origins in family counseling. The purposes of using genograms in career counseling are to determine the factors affecting the clients' professional perceptions and to explore their perceptions of the business world. In career counseling, genograms are used in different ways depending on the needs of the client. Firstly, the career counselor can draw the genogram in line with the information provided by the client and talk about it with the client. Secondly, the career counselor can inform the client about the professions in the genogram. Finally, the career counselor can actively invite the client to examine the genogram and focus on the career assessments of family members. At this point, the aim of this study is to introduce and examine the use of family career genograms by counselors at all levels in schools.
