Abstract
Koklear implantlar konvansiyonel amplifikasyondan fayda göremeyen ileri-çok ileri derecede sensorinöral tip işitme kaybına sahip bireylerde kullanılan ve işitsel sinirin doğrudan elektriksel olarak uyaran sistemlerdir. Koklear implantasyon biyoteknoloji ve tıp dünyasındaki en önemli gelişmelerden birisidir. Çünkü koklear implantasyon kişilere kaybettikleri veya hiç sahip olmadıkları işitme duyusunun yerini tutacak kazanım sağlamakta ve kişilerin yaşam kalitelerine büyük katkıda bulunmaktadır. Bu derlemede; koklear implantasyonun odyolojik, preoperatif, intraoperatif ve postoperatif değerlendirme ve takip süreçleri ile ilgili bilgiler kendi klinik tecrübelerimiz ile harmanlanarak sunulmuştur.
