Bu araştırmanın amacı, rehberlik ve psikolojik danışmanlık programında öğrenim görmekte olan öğretmen adaylarının özel eğitime ilişkin görüşlerini incelemektir. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemi ile desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın verileri yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler ile toplanmıştır. Bunlara ek olarak, veriler araştırmacı günlüğü ve doküman incelemesi yoluyla toplanmıştır. Toplanan veriler nitel betimsel analiz teknikleri ile analiz edilmiştir. Bu analizlerden elde edilen bulgulara göre temalar oluşturulmuştur. Öğretmen adaylarının görüşleri doğrultusunda ortaya çıkan bu temalar; özel eğitime ilişkin ders sayısının yetersiz oluşu, özel gereksinimli bireylerle uygulamalara yer verilmemesi, dersin işlenişinin niteliği ve dersi veren öğretim üyesinin alanda uzman olmaması şeklindedir. Elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda ileriye yönelik araştırma ve uygulamaya dönük öneriler sunulmuştur.
The aim of this research is to examine the opinions of teacher candidates studying in the guidance and psychological counseling program on special education. The research was designed with the qualitative research method. The data of the research were collected through semi-structured interviews. In addition to these, data were collected through researcher diary and document review. The collected data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. Themes were formed according to the findings obtained from these analyzes. These themes that emerged in line with the opinions of teacher candidates; Insufficient number of special education lessons, not including applications with individuals with special needs, the nature of the course and the instructor's not being an expert in the field. In line with the findings obtained, suggestions for future research and practice are presented.
