Nörolojik Rehabilitasyon Alanında Çalışan Fizyoterapistlerin İş Doyumu ve Tükenmişlik Durumlarının İncelenmesi
Abstract
Amaç: Nörolojik rehabilitasyon alanında çalışan fizyoterapistlerin iş doyumu ve tükenmişlik durumlarını ve bazı kişisel ve mesleki değişkenlerle ilişkisini incelemektir.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamız 114 fizyoterapistin katılımıyla gerçekleştirildi. Katılımcıların kişisel ve mesleki değişkenleri sorgulandıktan sonra iş doyumunu ölçmek için İş Doyum Ölçeği (İDÖ), tükenmişlik düzeylerini belirlemek için Maslach Tükenmişlik Ölçeği (MTÖ) kullanıldı. Ölçek 3 alt başlığı ile (duygusal tükenme, duyarsızlaşma ve kişisel başarı) incelendi.
Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan 114 Fizyoterapist’in 69’u (%60,5) kadın, 45’i (%39,5) erkekti. Yaş ortalamaları 30,94±6,43 yıl (E:30,16±5,87; K: 31,46±6,77), hizmet yılları ise 8,03±6,35 yıldı. Fizyoterapistlerin cinsiyetlerine bağlı olarak MTÖ alt boyutları ve İDÖ skorları değişmedi (p˃0,05). Yakınlarının etkisi ile meslek seçimi yapan fizyoterapistlerin (p=0,009) ve 30 yaşından büyük fizyoterapistlerin kişisel başarı skor ortalaması istatistiksel olarak anlamlı derecede düşüktü (p=0,043). Çalışılan alan ve sektöre bağlı olarak MTÖ ve İDÖ skorları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark yoktu (p˃0,05). Ortalama hizmet süresi 15 yıldan fazla olan fizyoterapistlerin kişisel başarı skor ortalaması
istatistiksel olarak anlamlı derecede düşüktü (p= 0,034). Yaş (r = -0,202, p = 0,031) ortalama hizmet süresi (r = -0.198, p = 0,035), İDÖ skoru (r = -0,215, p = 0,022) ile kişisel başarı alt ölçeği arasında negatif yönde zayıf korelasyon vardı. Duygusal tükenme ile İDÖ skoru arasında negatif yönde orta derecede (r =-0,457, p = 0,0001), Duyarsızlaşma arasında negatif yönde zayıf bir korelasyon vardı (r = -0,233, p = 0,013).
Sonuç: Nörolojik rehabilitasyon alanında çalışan fizyoterapistlerin meslek seçimlerini nasıl yaptıkları, yaşları ve ortalama hizmet sürelerinin tükenmişliği etkilediği gözlendi. Tükenmişlik arttıkça iş doyumu azalmaktaydı.
